My Work

& process 

My name is Conor Burke I am an artist living in Galway city, Ireland. My work is predominantly concerned with  geometric and architectural imagery which usually incorporates a political or philosophical subtext, this aspect of the work acts as a starting point that inspires and drives the work forward throughout the creative process. Even though the subtext can often remain hidden to the general observer within the finished work it remains a very important part of the process. In that context the work takes on a simpler function in relation to geometric form, Line, shape, space and abstraction within the picture plane.
